Obi is a Windows application that helps DJs display album artwork from Pioneer/Rekordbox setups on a projector, TV, wall, or second display.

Information processed locally

The Obi desktop app may process Rekordbox database paths, track titles, artists, BPM, artwork references, local music metadata, Pioneer DJ Link beat/BPM data, audio input level data, app settings, and local diagnostic logs on your own computer. This information is used to make the app work.

Obi does not upload your music files, Rekordbox library, track history, audio input, or album artwork to us.

Website and downloads

When you visit obi-app.net or download the demo, hosting providers such as Cloudflare may process basic technical information including IP address, browser type, pages visited, download requests, approximate location derived from IP address, and access time.

Microsoft Store purchases

If Obi is purchased through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes payment, account, billing, and purchase information. We do not receive full payment card details.

Support

If you contact us, we may receive your email address, message, screenshots, logs, or files you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data. We may use service providers for hosting, downloads, email, Microsoft Store distribution, analytics, or security. We keep personal information only as long as needed for support, security, legal obligations, and service operation.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. Contact hello@obi-app.net for privacy requests. UK users can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
